Malachi 3:1

With final declaration

With all but final plea

The prophets voices stilled and

The earth was ghostly void

Like when there was just the Spirit

Hovering on the waters

Before the Word ever spoke.

HE IS COMING!!

One hundred years.

 HE IS COMING!

And one hundred years more.

             He Is Coming.

And still the silence takes its toll.

And still the silence takes its toll.

 h e    i s   c o m i n g . . .

One hundred years again

And still another to pass

400 years of silence

With only these fragmented words

To carry a promise of the past

              h  e                     i  s                         c  o  m  i  n  g           .     .    . 

And then when an echo was all

We had left

With dying voice and fading breath

"He is coming"

Became past tense

Because

He Came.
